Whilst we know there are some cars now ship with HUD as standard, for the vast majority of cars the only reality is taking your eyes off the road to receive navigation in a tiny screen either on the dashboard or sometimes your lap! Our phones and our cars are an absolute integral part to our everyday life. However, it is obvious that the two are still not integrated fully in most cars. The Navdy Head-Up Display (HUD) was created so that these two key tools could interact in ways that make sense . Now you can stay connected to your network, your car and the road ahead and safely!
Whilst Yourgadgetnow understand that this technology is not ‘rocketship’ in its concept, as with all good technology, it is how it is delivered. We understand that with the Navdy App, your phone is fully in sync with your car and therefore the road ahead. The Next Trip feature lets you load destinations through the app, so when you get behind the wheel you’re ready to go. It also displays traffic overviews, suggests faster routes, and lets you customize the dash. You can pretty much summon most data to do with your car and your phone, either via gesture or by using the finger button.

In line with one of our posts from yesterday, we continue the theme this morning of how man is reinventing the capability of the human body with technology. For those who remember the ‘six million dollar man’ TV series, the likelihood of humans adding incredible strength or special powers to our bodies is becoming more of a reality.
Keahi Seymour has for over 25 years held a dream of inventing special shoes that will enable humans to have extraordinary strength and therefore speed, to keep up with animals such as the cheetah, in their straight line speed.
By the age of 17 Keahi had built his first set of bionic legs from his vision back when he was 12 years old. In line with all inventions that eventually become successful, Keahi has built another 200 versions and now has a version that can accelerate his motion to 25 mph. Keahi is determined to continue to improve the bionic feet to the point that he can run as quick as a cheetah and possibly exceed 40Mph.
